Tired of Air That Makes Your Family Sick? There’s Finally a Real Answer

If someone in your house is always fighting something — the cough that never fully goes away, the allergies that flare indoors, the musty smell you can’t track down — the problem usually isn’t the people. It’s the air.

Filters can’t fix it, because a filter only cleans the air that happens to pass through it. Everything it misses keeps circulating, and everything that settles on your counters, door knobs and keyboards stays exactly where it landed.

Pure Air Restoration installs EMT air purification instead. It doesn’t wait for contamination to come to it. It fills the entire space with charged molecules that seek out mold, bacteria, viruses and odors and reduce them on contact — continuously, on every surface, without you lifting a finger.

The Pure Air Restoration Air Purification Difference

We’ve spent more than a decade cleaning up mold, smoke and water damage across Central Indiana. This is the equipment we reach for when we want a problem to stay solved — so it’s the equipment we sell.

Air and surfaces, together

Most systems treat one or the other. This treats both at the same time, everywhere air can reach — countertops, handles, keyboards, ductwork.

We measure, we don’t guess

A BAMS™ bioaerosol reading takes five minutes and gives you a real number before install and after. You see the change instead of taking our word for it.

Local install, national shipping

In Central Indiana we assess, size, install and service it. Outside our area, we spec the right unit and ship it to your door with support on call.

Why Your Filter Isn’t Enough

The airborne biological particles that actually make people sick live in the 0.05 to 10 micron range — far too small for standard HVAC filtration to reliably capture. They pass straight through and keep circulating.

HEPA and UV only act on the airstream that travels into the box. They have zero effect on surface contamination. Fogging and chemical sprays are no better: the moment a surface is touched again, you start over.

Meanwhile, the average person takes 20,000 breaths a day and moves about 440 cubic feet of air — roughly 90% of it indoors. Whatever is in that air ends up in your lungs and on every surface in the building.

What a filter leaves behind

  • Bio-aerosols small enough to pass through the media
  • Every germ already sitting on a countertop or handle
  • Contamination in rooms the airflow doesn’t reach well
  • Odors and VOCs, which most filters simply don’t address
  • EMT reaches all four — continuously, 24 hours a day
Active vs. Passive

Passive Systems Wait. We Actively Attack Anywhere Air Flows.

EMT energizes the hydrogen peroxide already present in your air into charged eH2O2 molecules that fill the entire cubic volume of the space, then seek out microbes and reduce them on contact. No airflow required. Nothing has to find the filter first.

Proven in the Hardest Rooms in America

EMT built this technology for food safety long before it was ever sold to homeowners. It has run in dairy, seafood and meat production plants, pharmaceutical clean rooms, hospitals and schools since 2016 — with no known incompatibility across production equipment, conveyors, electronics, medical equipment or HVAC ductwork.

If it holds up in a commercial bakery with the humidity swinging from 24% to 85%, it will hold up in your living room.

Safe Enough to Run in an Occupied Room

The question we get most is whether hydrogen peroxide in the air is safe to breathe. It already occurs naturally in your environment — and EMT operates far below every published regulatory limit.

CompoundOSHAEPAFDAEMT maximum
Ozone (O3)0.1 ppm0.08 ppm0.05 ppm0.0009 ppm
Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)1.0 ppm——0.030 ppm

OSHA, NIOSH, EU and HSE all set the occupational exposure limit for hydrogen peroxide at 1 ppm as an 8-hour time-weighted average. EMT systems are CARB certified — California’s standards are among the strictest in the country — and carry organic certification. Units are not medical devices and are not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of any disease or medical condition.

Cleaner Air in 4 Simple Steps

We don’t sell you a box and wish you luck. We measure what’s in your air first, and we measure it again after.

Step 1

Quantify & Identify

We locate contaminants on surfaces — biofilms, molds, bacteria — and measure total particulate and aerosolized biological counts by micron size. You get a baseline.

Step 2

Decontaminate

We clean and stabilize the environment with portable MAK™ units to knock down the existing load before permanent equipment goes in.

Step 3

Actively Prevent

We size and install purification throughout the affected areas — inline, wall-mounted, or both — for continuous protection 24 hours a day.

Step 4

Monitor & Maintain

We re-measure the bio-load so you can see the change, then keep your equipment inspected and cells replaced on schedule.

What do you need help with?

Air Purifier FAQs

Is it safe to run around my family and pets?

Yes. These units are built to run continuously in occupied space. EMT’s maximum hydrogen peroxide output is 0.030 ppm against an OSHA 8-hour limit of 1.0 ppm, and maximum ozone output is 0.0009 ppm against an EPA limit of 0.08 ppm. Hydrogen peroxide is already present in the air around you; this technology energizes what’s there.

Does this replace my furnace filter?

No, and it isn’t meant to. A filter captures particulate that passes through it. EMT reduces microbial contamination throughout the entire volume of the space and on surfaces. They do different jobs — keep your filter and add this.

What maintenance does it need?

Very little. The MAK cell is replaced every 24 months. Inline units have no filter at all. Wall-mounted units have particulate filters on a 4 to 12 week cycle depending on the model and how dirty the environment is. For local clients we handle it on a schedule; for shipped units we send replacements to you.

Will it damage my electronics, appliances or equipment?

EMT has been deployed since 2016 across production equipment, stainless and plastic conveyors, electronics, medical equipment, pharmaceutical clean rooms and HVAC ductwork with no known incompatibility. Because hydrogen peroxide occurs naturally in the environment already, equipment prone to that kind of corrosion would show it regardless.

How do I know which unit I need?

It comes down to cubic feet, not square feet, plus what actually happens in the room. A 12-foot warehouse ceiling and an 8-foot bedroom ceiling with the same floor area need very different equipment, and a commercial kitchen carries a far higher microbial load than an office. Send us dimensions and a description of the space and we’ll size it — no charge, no obligation.

Will it help with odors?

Yes. The same process that reduces bacteria, viruses and mold also reduces VOCs and the odors that come with them — smoke, pets, cooking, mustiness. It works on the source rather than masking it, which is exactly why we use it on restoration jobs.

Can I buy one if I’m not in Indiana?

Absolutely. We ship nationwide. You get the same sizing help and the same support by phone or video; you just handle the physical install yourself or with a local HVAC contractor. Inline units are a straightforward job for any technician.

How soon will I notice a difference?

Most people notice odor reduction within the first few days. On the biological side it works far faster than that: clinical testing has shown significant reduction within the first two hours, and up to 99.9% reduction within 24 hours.
